“For most of my life I had felt like some vital piece of information was missing from my DNA, I felt dysfunctional and inadequate and was raised in a completely toxic household, by a very toxic parent, which in turn further fuelled my feelings of inadequacy and low self esteem. I tried to run away from these feelings and the toxic parent, but whenever we came into contact, I would revert to old childhood ways of self-preservation and get caught in the cogs of her dynamics, flailing and in pain.
I have tried many times and many ways to free myself from the ties that seemed to bind me to this toxic parent and no matter how grown up or independent I became, it seemed to make little difference in her eyes for she still saw me as a 5 year old in her mind and the appropriate recipient of all her "stuff".

I know this through personal experience has Keren has been treating me for a chronic musculoskeletal injury involving my neck and back. "When I first met Keren it was at a Body and Soul Festival. Because things aren't coincidental I was drawn to a table that Keren had, promoting and sending out education about Kinesiology and Reiki. Keren also had on display that she was giving Kinesiology sessions for $15. This went for 20 minutes. I had my session, which had a huge impact on me. With her gentle, compassionate, unconditional love approach she suggested that I do a Reiki course as I would get huge benefit. There was no pressure to do the course. Thank goodness I eventually did enrol in the course and the beneficial and healing effects it had were overwhelming. We are all unique and special. We are all healers. There is no right or wrong.
